Pain 5/10.

Location: Kirchberg Hospital, Luxembourg

Pain Diary Entry: 28 October 2022

Pic today is of one of the friendly physio staff working my thumb back into some sort of action. I also get to do my own exercises every hour which most are ok but the top joint which my gut feel says it won't bend fully again. The pain to describe i think is like the tracks from a tank rolling back and forth over the tiny joint. Or getting it caught in a door.
Anyways coming to the end of a busy week and looking forward to getting some rest this weekend. Currently in a different type of waiting room as i wait for my car inspection to be done. If you want a good head scratcher, going to a country with a totally different legal structure and interacting with the bureaucracy there. Makes me giggle sometimes at how many different ways things can be done And how there is no right way.
Back to the thumb, mentally whats tough is that my left hand was one of the remaining parts of my body that never hurt. Though it already has scars from previous stitches so... yay. I now have scars on every limb and body from a lifetime of surgeries. I'm extremely happy that the physio's at the hospital are kind. It makes a huge difference to me.
Mentally I'm improving again. Managed to still get lots done this week that i enjoyed doing too. I'm finding ways to find peace. Still could slow down potentially but that's not me either. Im the hare 🙄😎🤙
