Pain 5/10
Location: Luxembouorg City, Luxembourg
Pain Diary Entry: 24 September 2022
I finally, for the first time in a long time, at home in Europe at least, I found time yesterday to do something for me that did not involve needles, disabled parking spaces, hospital foyers, beds or waiting rooms.
I am on a new path due to my health and yesterday went to my third ever art exhibition. They are all so different to each other yet have, for me at least, the same message which I am starting to learn how to do also. Words aren’t enough to convey the complexities of understanding why we are alive and what life is about. As we all run about trying to work out how to live our lives according to limitless variables, some try to communicate that through art. And I am starting to explore that language and how it will help me get through mornings like today where I wake up at 130am in gut wrenching pain and just make it to the bathroom to throw up. Then again 2 hours later for my bowels. And now I’m in the bath trying to reduce my lower body pain.
Im not sure what I’m trying to say but I had a good end to the week, am finally finding what im looking for here in Luxembourg, which I have no words for, perhaps meaning… it’ll come to me one day. Anyhow, I should try and get some more sleep… then a day seeing friends. When I get the chance to remember as I’ve just done so, I enjoy life, it’s been good to me in many ways, I just gotta keep adapting…
This photo was in lux city between the Grund and Clausen. A lovely little sculpture sits looking at this view all day long. It’s a pleasant spot if you’re in the area, foot access only due to stairs annoyingly… but with walking stick it was fine. Alright day… let’s go
(As always todays pain number 5 is embedded in the photo. Look for it and enjoy the pic!)
