Pain Diary Entry: 14 October 2023

Last night I had fun. The type of fun that involved a little bit of naughtiness and an interesting observation into culture. The naughtiness was my having a few beers throughout the evening. I don't really drink anymore as have enough medications now to no longer need the drink, but I was in a good mood whilst simultaneously trying not to cry as my left knee feels abnormal and like it will collapse at any moment. I was headed to a poetry slam, where my steiner education kicked in and my interest in competing wss lost and i started observing. I could state the negatives from an inclusive perspective but am tired of pointing out the obvious. Its frustrating that inclusion and minority problems that are so simple to resolve yet are only ever seen by those within the group who are then forced to be the driving force for change. We have so many groups fighting for funding to provide the activities and services our communities, us, want, need and desire.
So I relaxed and watched, listened and learned. And i throughly enjoyed being part of it, lost in my own little world, forming my own opinions that are wrong as often as they are right and of little importance in the long run.
We all face obstacles, most of which are able to be managed and overcome, mine today is to do some stretches without passing out from pain. Then another day or two in bed, soaking up the peace and trying to stop overthinking everything 😂 i had fun, by my own doing and i look forward to doing it again! Alas I was unable to take pics or video but did meet some incredible people! 🤙
Todays pic made me giggle when i took it, how we do silly things and yet collectively we slowly progress... into what though, thats what interests me, the past is known and can be studied, the future though, is full of the unknown and that excites me.
